Yuri Is My Job! Manga Getting Anime Adaptation, Reveals Trailer The manga Yuri Is My Job! Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto Desu! in the original Japanese by Miman is getting an anime adaptation! We don’t know yet when it will debut, but a one-minute trailer has dropped. Yui Ogura plays Hime Shirasagi and Sumire Uesaka plays Mitsuki Ayanokōji. This is a nice touch, because these actresses also voiced the characters in a promotional video for the seventh volume of the manga. The anime is being made at Passione and Studio Lings, with Infinite producing. It’s being directed by Hijiri Sanpei, who previously worked on Wasteful Days of High School Girls. Character design has been tasked to Taisuke Iwasaki. The manga debuted in late fall of 2016, being published in Comic Yuri Hime magazine. Most recently the tenth volume was released in Japan. In America, the most recent volume to be released is volume 8, which came out in March. Kodansha Comics publishes the English version of the original manga
