It's alright to watch strange fake if you have watched Fate Zero(they mentioned about Fate Zero, some stay night but not much), despite there are so many character from others show but it's conclusion are separate from other as well so even if some character died in this shows the other shows they probably live their life.

2. Fate stay night : Heaven Feels Trilogy
That's part of main timeline, well still fate zero is enough to emjoy this series, even tho for fate fans of course we need to everything😂

It's good that you watched Zero before Fake. Fake basically continues from Zero so you won't be confused. Most of the fate entries start after Zero, like UBW and Heaven's Feel, but like parallel universes, hence why Zero is called like😆

Enkidu from the legends is usually Gil’s “rival” of sorts. They’re usually always equal in pretty much everything.
Enkidu was created by the “gods” to reign Gil in, but they ended up “liking” each other. Some even interpreted it as “love”.
That sword spamming(Gate of Babylon) you see Gil do, is actually something he copied from Enkidu during their first battle.

Enkidu is Gilgamesh’s best friend, he was created by the gods to defeat him, but when they fought they were equals in power and became friends. The chains Gilgamesh uses are called enkidu, they were originally Enkidu’s but Gil was given them when enkidu died
I have seen original fate, unlimited blade works and zero. Also fate apocrypha. Is that enough to watch this one or do I need to watch the other recent shows too?
You were right. Lord El-Mellon was Iskanders master. His name was waver velvet. However he changed it to become lord of the tower and was taken in by a mage family (if I’m remembering correctly)

those 3 are interchangeable as they are different timelines that happens after Zero
In a sense, Strange Fake also happens in the same way as it too is a 10 year timeskip from Zero just like those 3 ( i just realised it)
But yea Zero should be enough but youll still be confused a tiny bit but it wont detract from the overall enjoyment
to have a holistic view
Fate Zero + UBW + El Meloi Case Files + Tsukihime = would offer everything needed to go into strange fake
But Zero gives you the bare minimum information needed to really enjoy the show

Let me know if I got this right. Since this Grail War is a Fake one. They mention that masters can summon Heros both from fictional and real life characters. So both Jack the reaper and Saber which is King Arthur are both the fictional Heroes since the real life saber is the one we all know from Fate Zero and Stay Night and I think the real Jack the reaper is the one from Fate Apocrypha. That's what I get from watching until ep3 of this Fate.
Fun fact: do you guys know that Fate series actually originated from an Eroge (the japanese term for erotic game) the first ever Fate story that was published is a p*rn game 😂
Ayyy finally on some peak. Its actually very good that guys watched Fate/Zero to get some context for this show. They'll continue to mention/reference other Fate series but you guys at least have a base understanding of stuff happening

Fate zero and unlimited blade works is better imo and is connected so if you upload fate zero you to YouTube you gotta do UBW the one thing about the fate series is most of the shows is different timelines even UBW movies are technically a different timeline but this is ufotables baby they’ve been cooking animation wise

Enkidu is made from clay and in the epic of gilgamesh which is the oldest recorded story in human history
Its somewhat implied Enkidu married Gilgamesh and prevented him from having intimate relations with a married woman (consensually or not – he had made it law for him to consummate with all newlyweds)

Nobody gonna blame you for calling Enkidu a woman, its easy to make that mistake – tbh im not even sure hes not a woman, they literally just refer to him as Enkidu
im guessing its because hes literally just clay molded by the gods to keep Gilgamesh in check (it failed, gilgamesh is slightly stronger than him)

Don't worry too much if you are not understanding some terminologies or things.
Fate Strange Fake is a love letter for the Fate franchise as well as other IPs connected to it so there's gonna be a lot of things that will be mentioned/referenced.
So just enjoy the spectacle and treat it like Hunger Games: Pick a pair of master/servant you like to root for and cheer for them to win the holy grail war!

so why the hell is enkidu not just granting his masters wish?? he can use the grail whenever he wants bruh
Gilgamesh is here to force people to prove themselves worthy of the grail but Enkidu isnt, gil even says as much
Enkidu is Gilgamesh’s only best friend. His gender is supposed to be a mystery — that's why his figure is obscured by the loose fitting clothes — but his body is modelled after a female, however, he’s, to my knowledge, a male.
Enkidu is also the name of the chains Gilgamesh uses to restrain Berserker in Stay Night — which he personally named after his best friend.
