An active flare up continues to burn at the historic Tustin hangar Monday morning, as fire crews monitor the flames and disaster relief professionals continue to clean up potentially toxic debris. Schools and daycare centers in the area, which were closed on Thursday due to the potentially toxic air and on Friday for Veterans Day, remain closed on Monday, officials said. Residents are being advised to remain in their homes if possible.

  1. I thought fire department had respirators to fight fires. Sorry guys this fire has asbestos we not allowed to put it out

  2. I live up the street from where the fire is and I cannot go outside or have my windows open anymore because of this. This is causing major health issues and the city doesn't seem to care

  3. the hanger being burned isnt a coincidence 3 times in the same week it seems that they planned this because they want to make more apartments and since its abandoned

  4. Glad at least anchor Frank is asking the obvious questions that are first on our minds, bcz no one else is 🤦‍♂

  5. they could drop water on it. but they dont want to save that structure and its probably cheaper to just let it all burn down. wonder what the real plans for that property are? the navy owns it, i think.

  6. California's where you go when you're deformed beyond the hills have eyes, and are ready for stockholm syndrome greater than the village.

  7. I was watching a video from about a year ago and part of the roof collapsed (no fire) and they were trying to figure out what to do about the building then. It cost to much to repair/restore. So I guess FIRE was a good way to solve the problem … 🙁
