NC Nate’s story event was pretty hilarious – they really leaned in to the fact that Nate was simultaneously an out-there pick and one that a lot of people clamored for. He also gets plus points since he suggested that Hugh was good enough to be a Neo Champion too – and he’s absolutely right.

The stage itself already points to the best alternative should you not have NC Nate. CIris’ expanded grid last month made her an even better counter to this stage as it gave her Unbending and Stalwart, letting her ignore the stage’s main gimmick. Hilbert completed her buffs and was also an effective tank thanks to Impervious, while Colress provided Defense debuffs and tanked well enough thanks to his TM and Team Sentry Entry 2.

Slightly salty that Hugh wasn’t in the event, but he is Rosa’s rival in this canon after all so I’ll let it slide. Hopefully he plays a good role in that one. He’s also a good answer to this stage as not only does his sync do good damage, his TM has defensive buffs to help mitigate the initial debuffs. Fall Caitlin provided even more defensive buffs to help the team tank the stage, while Ghetsis complemented that with offensive debuffs.

Easy to forget that base N has a Dragon-type move lol. 3/5 is probably enough here, you might just need more potions. Spring Burgh was the team’s defensive backbone while Classic Elesa spread debuffs and activated N’s multipliers.

I beat this with aura Cynthia, champion blue and elesa.
Ash wasn't an option cuz they take less damage from special moves. His buddy move only did 12k despite having 4 sync buffs, + 4 special move up next and the opponents having -2 electric rebuff 💀
I'm struggling to get the clear with iris. Do you think it's doable with hilbert iris colress?
Will say I have not struggled this badly with an Extreme Battle since the Dark Galar one in March where I was forced to EX Karen to win. Barely made it with a team of Spring Burgh, Classic Elesa and Fall Hilbert (All EX) after an hour of attempts.
Is Champ Iris now worth investing to EX and 3/5 now that NC Nate is here?
Oh ya, cheers to C.Iris having Ground Guard, btw. I thought Hilbert + Colress was a good idea, but Colress kept fainting early b/c of his Ground weakness (also couldn't get any key flinches to keep him alive), so his teammates were faced w/ stronger EQ's. I eventually just cleared it w/ Skyla + Hilbert instead, after dropping Atk +20 for Ground Guard, lol. Still slowly approaching scout points for NC Nate, though. I just want him b/c he looks fun.
