  1. See, this is why I appreciate these two. The ending of this episode is exceedingly sweet, and they're both like 😍🤩🥰💓💓💓💓

  2. I love the symbolism in this. When they are running from the bad guys, Yor suddenly moves up to run beside Lloyd instead of slightly behind him. This suggests that, instead of always trying to catch up to him, they are equals and can continue on side by side at the same pace.

  3. Anya is Hinatsuru, one of Tengen's wives, Loid is the young man with tuberculosis on the Mugen Train, and Yor is Shinobu Kocho.

  4. 7:36 A lot of spies are probably very talented like that, at least the top tier ones sent in very important missions on enemy countries.

We at least know that many are trained to perfectly mimic the locals to the point that you can't differentiate them via looks, gestures, mannerisms, the way they talk, the word choices etc.

The skill to do all those already makes them incredible, coupled with being able to act calmly on any situation and being able to improvise on command. Also being very good with coercing people to talk and having a high EQ, are some of the things I expect a top tier spy to have.

  5. The cypher depends on the sound the person who gave him the message say:

MEOW = Cypher C for CAT
RIBBIT = Cypher F for Frog (He originally thought its Cypher T for Toad)

  6. The aesthetics of the intro are a deliberate call-back to Fritz Freleng's openings for the Pink Panther movies.

I have a few go-to anime for when I just want to feel good. Laid-Back Camp. Tomo-chan Is a Girl! But Spy Family is definitely the top of the list. Action, comedy, and found family, with one of the best soundtracks out there.
