      These are actually real places in Hungary and Budapest
      Óbuda (old Buda, before Buda + Pest unified)
      Kárpátia restaurant (after the Carpathian Mountains)
      Tokaji wine
      the names are intentionally misspelled since this is supposed to be a fictional parody universe (Westalis and Ostania are clearly parodies of post WW2 Eastern and Western Germany)

      Them blushing at the bed scene is because loid accidentally puts the pillows on the YES side. Which typically represents couples showing they are willing to do some naughty things tonight 😊 😚

      Call me a weirdo, but Yuri feels way too protective of his sister. It looks like he is trying to protect his girlfriend. It maybe because its anime, but his jealousy feels more like that of a boyfriend than of a brother. That's what I feel at least.

      I like tgat you guys understand that yuri is attatched to his sister, to that degree, because of trauma growing up.

      He only has yor growing up
      He looked 5 years old and yor looked 12( since they're 7 years apart).

      Yor also diverted his attention with rewards everytime she came home bloody. So he never truly processed that. He assumed she was injured working.

      That all adds up

      I know people give dubbed anime shit all the time, but you should really try it. Just 30 seconds of it, or a couple lines from Loid, Anya and Yor. Their English voice actors are amazing. If you don’t like it fair enough.

      So Ostania's Secret Police Service is clearly based on the East German Stasi (MfS, Ministerium für Staatssicherheit, e.g. Ministry of State Security). Even the uniforms are reminiscent of East Germany.

      I can understand Yuri. I’m very protective of my sister and always worried about the kind of guy she’d end up with. I was so relieved when she met her husband because he’s awesome. Yuri takes it to a ridiculous degree, well of course because it’s a comedy.

      The reason they titled the opening "Mixed Nuts" is because Anya's favorite peanuts are different from other nuts in that they grow underground, and they exist in hiding, just like SPY×FAMILY. They are really stylish.

      Maybe it's just the macho pig in me, but I thought Yuri would blow a gasket hearing Lloyd telling his wife she couldn't have alcohol. That would usually raise eyebrows.

      You might have missed it, but Yor, Yuri and Loid are War orphans.
      Yor got scouted into assassination work because of her unusual strength and because she needed money to take care of her brother.
      Loid's backstory will get some more light in future seasons.
      But the reason why they do not notice each others errors is because they have a lack of experience of what a normal family and growing up in one is.
      Additionally they are so preoccupied with their already existing double life that they notice even less, they subconsciously blend out part of the issues with the other persons story.
      That and that Yor is kind of innocently naive about most things.
