TOURNAMENT RULES

Live-action characters only (sorry Comic/Manga readers).
*However, I might occasionally bring ‘em up for context, and because they’re awesome.

Empiricism is my main method when it comes to analyzing feats. If you want to change my mind and make a persuasive argument, this is the first step.

Hyperbolic Statements like, “GODZILLA IS STAR LEVEL!” are vehemently discouraged. This is due to the fact that these statements are routinely contradicted by the films (i.e., Godzilla was trapped in a volcano for 5 years, so how can he be Star Level you idjits**?!).

**When I say idjits, by the way, I’m just being playful. I don’t actually think you’re stupid.

Transformations WILL happen.

Some participants start in their Final Forms.

Several characters will have their stats amended.

For this tournament, I won’t be taking Official Kaiju Stats completely at face value. This is because Godzilla and Gamera kaiju have wildly disproportionate weights. To compensate for this and to avoid repetition, a group of kaiju will receive Toho-styled increases in their stats (i.e., mostly mass but a few will have their heights and/or lengths boosted as well).

This Applies to the Following Contestants: Gamera, Iris, Legion, Super Gyaos, King Kong.

Additionally, despite being part of the Heisei Era, these characters didn’t receive the Heisei Godzilla Era Stats Boost. Therefore, they shall receive it in this tournament: Mothra Leo, Death Ghidorah, Dagahra, Grand King Ghidorah, Utsuno Ikusagami, Orochi.

Stats have little to no impact on who’d emerge victorious.
