I normally don’t have much patience with stories with MCs who are slow to realize others’ feelings for them or their own feelings or they are slow about accepting others’ or their own feelings, but I liked the actors and this version is not too bad so I kept watching. It’s not terrible, but it wasn’t super great either. It’s not like I hate slow burns, but I’m quite picky about them. I’m ok with feelings developing slowly, but there needs to be no feelings beforehand for it to work, also, the slow development of feelings has to be really well done or I lose patience. What I also don’t like is when there obviously are feelings already, but they keep dragging things out, unless there’s a genuine reason for the hesitation, but still, I’m super picky about that. In this one, supposedly the MC was scared of accepting feelings because she was hurt before, but IMO, her getting so hurt was all on her. She was hurt so much for so long because she was such a simp for such trash for years. The guy was leading her on and using her as an ATM even before she confessed her feelings to him. I could never. Sure, there are times when we misjudge a person’s character and have a better image of them than they really are, but anyone with a working brain would realize the truth after being treated like trash a few times, but she even married him and stayed married to him for years… Then she’s scared of accepting feelings from someone who treats her like a treasure? 🙄 Can’t you see the difference?

但可憐之人必有可恨之處,女主無辜為何要对你的自卑買單？
