      Ive never watched fate until recently because im writing a crossover fanfiction of it but i was just wondering does anyone know if jack the ripper got his NP back after this fight? Because I don't know how the intricate things in fate work super good at all yet😅

      Hydra Venom is basically what led to Herakles's death in mythology. As such, beyond being horrifically deadly and painful, it's his conceptual weakness. If he had God's Hand, his 12 lives would have been instantly obliterated by the venom. The ONLY reason Alcides survives is by using Chiron's Immortality (which acts as a single resurrection) mixed with the mud. And that's only temporary, because the venom is still in his body and doesn't care about resurrections or whatever trick he will try to use.

      qwq im sad that we didnt get john beating the living crap out of alcides like in the light novel , atleast we got a realy awesome laserbeam

      also, for anyone curious, in the lightnovel it gets explained that the reason alcides didnt just flop over and die was because he gave up all of his 12 lifes that he had (yes, this is seperate from 9 lives and are not a battle technique but actual 12 lives) in order to acquire his masters (Chirons) (not his master from fate but in his actualy mythologie) immortality. Chiron comited sudoku because he was also poisned by the hydra so alcides using this immortality makes him constantly suffer in pain of the hydra venom, the only reason he isnt dead/insane yet is because the black mud and the insane amount of mana that his master provides change this pain and suffering into power, once that is over (in around 3-4 days) he will go insane and die.

      also in the lightnovel its mentioned how this venom literaly eats his entire side , like its rotting away and through the mud it instantly gets restored, also in the light novel its explained that flat uses a command spell on alcides making him basicaly comit sudoku

      I can't remember if it's explained in the episode or not but John survived because of Dumas's Noble Phantasm
