First anime series i watched❤. Started watching in 2018
I really dont want to sound conceited, but i dont get why some people dont understand the premise of this scene moresoever the ending in general? In the ending scene we dont see the revenge of the 20% world population by destroying paradise but the cycle of war in general starting again after millenia. Which make you ask yourself, where the titans all time the real problem or humanity and its nature itself? If we take a look into our history we see the exact same pattern. Humanity is in war with itself since thousand of years. The participants may change from decades,centuries or even millenians but the conflict among humanity remains still. In the end the aot world was always just a mirror to our own world and the hints toward this message gave us isayama from the very first episode until the last. So yeah the ending is tragic and good. Aot is just a masterpiece and should make us think about our own world abit

This anime will go down as one of the most epic piece of entertainement we had. I believe the hate around this ending comes from the fact that people want to immerse in stories to escape from reality, but this one brings you right back to it. It's a story about human division, and our obsession with war, mixed with our deep desire to seek freedom, it's just powerful. What a fucking ride it was.
Deja vu….The poor kid at the end…… Looks like eren…. But also looks like ymir's story…. What was that in the end? It something like ymir's story repeats …. The boy gets in a tree's hole like her (is the same tree? Is eren's tree became as ymir's tree after years? I dont got it… But….)… After all these…. we Still got war between people and maybe Again titans? The story repeats? Wow, 1st time i be so exciting with ending of a episode/movie/anime/series….. Ps my english sucks sorry….

Attack on Titan was the first anime that I ever watched, and it quickly became my favorite show. Seeing "The End" after the series was really heartbreaking. It's hard to believe that 10 years have passed since I first started watching the show, and now it's time to say goodbye to Attack on Titan.

MAPPA did very well in bringing us Linked Horizon for the credits, the band that created most of the opening and endings for the first 3 seasons of Shingeki no Kyojin, I was very excited to hear Requiem a last time.
When the post-credits scene begins, you can see Mikasa (in her classic clothing) accompanied by some of the legion and ex-titans in the tree. Mikasa is then seen going with a man (and apparently a baby). Then Mikasa appears with her same partner and holding a cane (due to her advanced age) and her children and grand children behind her.
So in the end she was able to get over Eren, meet a good man and live a happy life, without forgetting him or his scarf.

All peace ends, does that mean it was meaningless and should have never been bothered with at all? All life ends too. Is life's only purpose to multiply? Is pain and suffering worth just being able to multiply? That's not all life is though. People can choose what is meaningful and precious to them, even it is inconsequential to the prime directive. In fact, I would argue that nothing besides living things can give anything meaning. The question then becomes: does the suffering, pain, and death outweigh all that is precious?

There's an insane amount to see in this. The musical homages to the title themes, the last few notes sung out, the idea of wars and titans as a cycle, making AoT just another story in the sands of time. Mikasa living out her life but never letting go of Eren. Art.
This has to be the greatest ending to a story I've ever witnessed. Those complainers must be smoking Titan steam.
Shingeki No Kyojin is a real work of art, with many sense. It make us reflect on our real world, the wars and the conflicts, our freedom, what is the places of the human on earth, does we really deserves to live, etc.
Shingeki No Kyojin is not just a serie to watch, this is a artwork that we have to analyse and understand, it can change the way that we see the world and make us change.
We have to thanks Issayama for his incredible artwork that i admire.
We all have lived this incredible work of art which we will keep alive for years to come.

My favourite parts are difinitely when mikasa passes away its just touching and also industrial revolution part the music changes to a more rugged smd fierce part of the song, bro its just the best man i love aot

Without detracting from masterpieces such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note to name a few, for me Shingeky is the best series in history, for many factors, story, soundtrack, narrative twists, I will always treasure it as the best anime of the story so far.
