  1. Yuyu: I need some new cards… clad in prayer just sucks.
Mirei: Alright yuyu, you better be happy, and better pay me back. Here's the "Blazing Heaven" Series.
Yuyu: yo!! Cool! Blaze Maiden Angel and Heavens Blaze Dragon's?

  2. I'm not gonna judge this one yet considering it's a 2 parter, which is low-key shocking to me considering how all the D anime episodes had been structured and it's been a very long since we got a fight that lasts more than one episode. It's really showing here that they're saving it up for the finale.

That said, despite the writing of Willdress especially this last season has been, topsy turvy to put it nicely, I would be lying big time if i said I'm not gonna miss the crew. It's definitely gonna a bittersweet finale for me at least.

  3. To be fair, we've had at least some of this cast for five seasons, a time period shared by Chrono and his crew.

"It's a little sad we won't see GUI play Brandt Gate." AH HA. AH HA HA HA HA. AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAA. About that.

I want to draw your attention to how Yu-Yu thinks of Vanguard and how he's been "dressed" in friendship.

YEP THERE IT IS! There's the reaction!

Blitz orders, you say? Hmmm. I wonder. 😛

Notice that there's a Hollowing Moonlit Night in the order zone in the Shingi/GUI fight. I didn't take the time to check out the units, but was that Griphogila or Orfist, you think?

Yeah, I noticed that absence of set orders as well. But that also means it can't use Lloyd's call skill.

I think Yu-Yu also considered the possibility of blitz orders, so he went for more draws from Mirrors despite the power increase from the originalDress.

And that's the episode! By the way, did you notice that Stra Vairina doesn't specify what kind of markers? In Premium, he kills most Imaginary Gifts as well!

  4. So far pretty fun episode, nice that they’re not skipping much. While I’m hyped about the BG Dragontree deck, I’m disappointed that GUI’s not really playing it like a Brandt Gate deck in any particular way lol. Makes the G1 Wretch feel pretty pointless besides being a Hydragrum. I’m wondering what the deck ratios are for that deck.

Also, ideologically, I’m still very confused about what is going on at this point. Cause they spent two and a half whole seasons showing why Uniformers were bad, between disappearances, Urara’s brainwashing, the nature of Uniformers’ players themselves being arrogant af, etc. Now all of a sudden we’re just going like “hey they’re not so bad, we need to accept them too,” like BRO. Zakusa literally left his wife to worry like crazy about him, Megumi made everyone in Blackout worry for her and made Danji the bad guy when he had more important shit to do, Halona’s been arrogant af the entire time, not to even mention Sophie (even if I like her). Like where did this dumbass heelturn come from lol

  5. I suppose you could say Yu-yu has reached his "Nirvana". Also I see that the Danji is channeling his inner Jaime with "Taro Peach-yama and Friends" team name.

Overall really happy that Gui is going for bingo with Brandt Gate in this situation. Also personally I'd like to believe that Yu-yu beat Raika and Urara back in episode 7 after they got Full Blast and Vivace respectively.

Next week's gonna be great, maybe we'll get He Said which would lovely to hear that again or maybe they'll stick that overcoming adversity theme they've been using for the climatic turns but I do hope to cap off Will Dress they'll use it.

Next week will be great, I'll have my many liters of Mango ice cream, a good episode and hopefully Michiru stops mimicking his vanguard and wakes up. Hopefully the dragontree becomes a true part of cray so we may get masques or Hydragrum beyond the season.

  6. I'm gonna miss everyone, I didn't expect things to conclude so soon. Although honestly looking back on the entirety of Will+Dress era a lot of plot felt like they were just thrown into your face and other subpoints werethrown away and got to nowhere productive. Where did Sam even go, why did we hype a lot of side characters when they would barely get any lines other than Taizo who also got shoved to the side, why did we have Michiru block out what he said to Shinobu when all it was just a device that he was gonna give to Raika for his training arc for half an episode, so many problems with this entire era as a whole, I like it because the plot concept is great and the fights are good too but the actual plot writing and execution has been all over the place. We still don't know much about Sophie and Halona, Megumi is still being mistreated because she had a lot of points where they could've focused on her but didn't, Tomari still doesnt' give a fuck and doesn't do anything, like we don't even know why she became a police in the first place or what she was like growing up. There are so many problems with the writing that I wish they took a season and just covered all of these points before they left this crew behind.

  7. i Will Say The New Prayer Dragons As Well As Stra Vairina Absolutely Gives The Deck A Massive Overhaul And Literally Saves Jheva As The New Hero Of Cray But Surely They Have To End It of With Yuyu Vs Danji For 1 Final Cardfight Like They Did With Aichi And Kai Back In Link Joker Days.

  8. I wish I could watch the whole reaction, but I'm doing my best to now to avoid Stra Vrina spoilers to hype myself up for the final episode. But as for what I did see and reading through the comments I am a little worried.

Trying to wrap up even just these few parts I mention, let alone conclude most of the cast's stories in 1 episode is nearly impossible.

First of all, Gui and the Uniformers. What the heck is the plan for them in the future and how are they going to convince us that the uniformers can be accepted despite their current methods. Honestly it reminded me a lot of Danji vs Tohya R2, with Danji just breaking down how unhealthy Tohya's life is in the long run the way it was back then. How are the uniformers going to change? Will it be believable? Gui isn't inheritely evil like cats, just very childlike.

Second Zakusa, how's he going to be accepted back? What was the light at the end of his fight against Yuyu? What about his relationship with Tomari and the months they spent apart? Can Zakusa predict the future? So many questions!

Third, what about Sam and the C.I.A? Like, is this just the U.S military in the Yugioh Waking the Dragons arc all over again? And Sam was so cool to me too.

But overall, despite it's rough moments, (cough Megumi), D series has absolutely hit many many highs in VG history, Bruce x Drajeweled just as one of many. From it's music, to the characters they did develop like Tohya and Mirei, and many fights were peak. If it ends here, I think it'll be just fine.

Fr tho I believe they could've made Megumi work better, they did when Tohya and Yuyu Xoverdressed. Just the whole notice me senpai plotline in most anime is very difficult to make work in general, let alone one this onesided.

Vangaurd may get a 1 up on Yugioh tho because they might actually keep their A.I alive. It'll always be too soon, AI.

  9. Thing is, Gui hasn’t caused any issues.

He’s correctly said he could make people stronger. Good guys just got buthurt that people played a different way to them and benefitted.

Makes for a far better story than an actual world ending plot. And actually helps the idea that cards obviously designed solely to beat one other card – like the new Varina – always existed. It feels like an actual gamr that people play for fun and to solve issues because both parties understand it and not because it’s magic and the only solution
