      Yeah, we get annoyed when we have to renew our ID card or similars. Imagine Frieren who just lives for thousands of years. Forget expiring, there's like a whole new system.

      Someone pointed out how the "Hero Sword" is a rusty sword that's bringing problems by attracting monsters while the "Fake Sword" in Himmel's funeral remained in good condition and was obviously the one that defeated the Demon King in the end. This episode really wants to tell you how worthless the Hero sword is and how being an actual hero is what matters.

      That's why we dont get a scene of Stark trying to pull it out, it doesn't matter. Getting the big borger is proof enough.

      I noticed something that I wonder how many people have caught. It’s EXTREMELY sweet, but so damn heartbreaking…

      Frieren’s eyes are a beautiful green, and her skin is pure white.
      Her hair is silver-white.
      She wears white.

      Ever notice what color her soul is?

      The core of her soul is white, but the flame of her soul is a brilliant light blue. Remind you of anyone?

      Well there is a theory or rather implication from the hero sword prophecy, that the calamity that the chosen hero must face was NOT the demon king. This prophecy is from some other calamity that has yet to happen. Hence himmel was not able to draw it out, he was destined to be a hero for some other calamity, not the one that this sword is meant to be used against. AKA there is a hero out there who will pull this sword out. Why? Because this sword IS magical and attracts monsters. These monsters cannot even touch it and yet try to attack and destroy it for good measure. Meaning the sword is indeed filled with some sort of power making it likely that the prophecy is true, it just wants meant for Himmel's generation.
