      Season1-2 are really out of order so you don’t need to think much about it. Just treat SS2 as Teio story that we didn’t saw in ss1 because we focus on special week in that season

      Fun fact: when Maruzensky said "you need talent, effort and luck to be like Rudoph" she was referencing the Triple Crown, because there was a saying "Satsuki Sho win by the fastest horse, Kikuka Sho win by the strongest horse, and Japan Derby win by the luckiest horse" and Rudoph won all of them

      So this is how Umamusume deal with the age problem:
      In horse racing there is a term call "Honkakuka", which can be roughly translate as "become full-fledged." It means a horse had mature on both physiological and psychological level to the point it can race at serious level.
      The same thing happens on Umamusume too, they only make their debut after they Honkakuka, instead of classic took place in specific age, it took place the 2nd year after they Honkakuka.
      And everyone enter this period in different age, this explain why Umamusume A can be older than B, but endup debut later than B.

      4:33 I was one of the people who suggested Joe reroll, but I remember him saying he’d rather quit than do that. I also told him Tazuna’s an okay card—not the best, but solid. I’m on the KR server (year 3 patch), and I still use Tazuna for URA runs when going for sparks.
      If you know her events, she’s great for energy management: reduced energy cost, lower failure chance, multiple events that restore stamina, and she can fix bad conditions twice. She also gives stat bonuses on any training, plus Concentration (gold, essential for Front/Pacer) and Tail-Held-High, a decent speed skill.
      Sure, she’s not ideal for max rank runs, but she makes URA much more stable and easier. Back in June 2021 on JP server, she was the #2 most used support card for high rankers in URA. She’s rated lower now only because later scenarios have better friend cards. While you’re still in URA, I’d suggest giving her a try.

      11:54 Gold City is from Tamamo Cross generation, one year older than Oguri Cap generation. She is in the first race in first episode of Cinderella Gray. Also Gold City is in the City lineage, not in the Gold lineage

      Like Mejiro McQueen and Mejiro Aldan, racehorses with the same last name are owned by the same owner.

      Coincidentally, however, Gold City and Gold Ship have similar names.

      Gold Ship was named Gold because of his robustness, similar to his father Stay Gold.

      Gold City was named Gold because of his golden coat, which is very rare.

      There is no connection between the two horses.

      06:30 Cinderella Gray season 2 is likely about those 4 horses in background running with their life. While here they are just chilling in retirement

      Season 2 is the best Uma Musume Anime better than the movie and Cinderalla Gray.

      No Uma Musume episode title drops hard like this one and the episode is also named Tokai Teio.

      Different studio but with the same core staff that worked at pa works for the s1 that will work also on s3 and no it’s not related to cygames pictures. Studio kai was founded from ex studio gonzo’s employers

      what you first need to get out of your head is: THIS IS NOT A HIGH SCHOOL, not a human one at least, they are not studying and graduating and that's it, they go here to learn and keep on it learning while on clubs that lets them race from amateurs to PRO, the graduation is not something they are expecting, in fact, graduating would mean they are retired, consider the school more like a big agency whit sub groups that compete betwen them, the girls are going to keep being on it as long as they can
      Of course if we relate at real life, they should end their careers in less than 5 years average, but here this is not gonna happen since they keep running whitout need to worry about the year any horse competed in real life, and in the anime the horse girls that are not of the same age in real life time are not gonna compete betwen them for historical fidelity, it only happen rarely and is out just for fanservice, that is one of the reasons why Suzuka don't run here anymore and is on America (the horse is ded) so she is more like only support here, also why Rudolf don't run against TeiO here and is more like a high student council member

      Tracen is a combined middle/high school. So you could see it as teio being in the middle school section and Rudolph being in the high school section if you wanna try and make sense of it that way.

      Umamusume is just a horse Isekai that lets all the different generations of horses race with each other. Just tell yourself "it's just a show, I should really just relax."

      Don't focus on timelines, age or years, you're gonna confuse yourself, because producers themselves doesn't care.
      They only care about "racing eras", and ironically Teio's era happened before Special weeks.

      9:26 what makes it crazier is that IRL Teio was BEFORE Spe meaning it was the other way around

      It’s best to just not worry about the order of events and just accept it for what it is

      Regardless of the order of who races when, the events that happen within the races stay relatively the same for the most part

      But yeah it IS a little confusing if you try to figure all that out from a logical perspective
