8:04 Hansa really said: "Think fast, Day Ducker!" and fired his Holy Wrist Mortar at the vampire.
I love seeing Gil be a good mentor figure to Tine.
Welcome to what in modern term would be called the "6🤷♂️7 grail war" (Kill me).
Also 13 servant is too much for snowfield. Yes, but the opening attack of Gil Ea is on the level that it would've tore apart the continent had Enkidu's not there to neutralize it. This war participant is just on another level which is understandable since Gil and Enkidu is there
Pretty sure this came out before chainsaw man
Welcome to my favorite part of type moon, executors and vampires👌
Hehe, i think the book came out before both Chainsaw man and Nier automata
Ngl, I can’t wait to see your reaction to the next episode! It’s absolutely crazy, and it only gets crazier from there!
I heard that the animatiors of chainsaw man were brought in for this episode to animate that leg chainsaw on hanza
Chainsaw man is eternal, and in all timelines in some way, shape or form… somehow…
Fate Strange Fake came a like whole 3 years before Chainsaw Man, but the Chainsaw Man animator was called in to do that scene
The reason those noble phantasms aren't working on him was because they were being used by humans, not heroic spirits, with a heroic spirit, it'd be a far different story. they mentioned it last episode
It's cool to get more info on the Church's operatives, without Tsukihime adaptations we don't really get to know much besides just Kirei
So about The Burial Agency. They are the top of the Church. They are called "The Den of Monsters" for a reason.
An "average" Servant's best attack is usually around 1,000-3,000 units of magic, and a Burial Agency member Ciel (Rank 7) start with a baseline of 5,000 units before even using weapons. (Rank 3) is a Nun that is a higher-dimensional being who could overwrite reality if she felt like it, but she chooses to stay human because she found she wasn't the biggest monster in the multiverse.
Both the Chainsaw scene and the Quartet's blindfold design were made before Chainsaw Man and Nier Automata, in fact, the design admittedly comes from an Executor design from an even older Fate artbook. The Chainsaw Man animator worked in that scene for the anime though
the idea of Fate ever being style over substance is really funny because it is such a uniquely anime-only experience
ufotable really did some damage to the series' image with it's adaptations, huh?
also most of the servant introductions in the Strange Fake anime are heavily cut down, they explain a lot more about them in the novels
also lore wise, since you asked whether messing with the grail has consequences, that heavily depends on the grail
messing with stuff that is just magic rituals like the Heaven's Feel is pretty risk free in theory, Illya explained it in great detail during her last date with Shirou, though the movie cut that out so you probably don't know about that
as for real grails, there are 3 people that immediately come to mind that could be considered holy grails, though only one of them says that about themselves while the other two are only confirmed by Gil, one he said is able to become a wish granting device themselves if they so wanted (Fate/Strange Fake volume 1) and the other is "exceedingly close to the original" (Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 2wei chapter 26) and changing their nature in any way would mean they might fight back, which in these cases can vary greatly in risk level
best case scenario, you get stabbed
worst case scenario, the texture of the planet turns inside out
hope that SOS bros reacts to:
– grimgar
– to your eternity S1-3
These two are amazing stories packed with logical feelings
7:40 those guys they're talking about are probably one of the most esteemed existences in this universe. One member is even an Ancestor level dead apostle, Jester would need to kneel down in front of them
I’m sure a few people will tell you this fun fact but the creator of this and the creator of Nier are actually friends, so this was a nod to him for their friendship.
Looking at it, I also think Flat's inversion could've also helped make a real Grail war happen just by being in the fake one, making the first fake war into a real one and then making that as reference that there is now a history of a Grail War in the US.
Reminder that Orlando thought his team of bums could take Hansa
The best part is the Light Novel makes it clear that the "grenade" launched by Hansa was a Holy Hand Grenade. Like, yes, the one from Monty Python. Because Monty Python and the Holy Grail is Canon to Fate.
The killer rabbit is a major character in FGO.
Burial Agency is the top of the top of Demon Killers for the church, there are 8 members currently in lore.
Ciel from Tsukihime is member number 7.
Hansa respects them alot, but he's not strong enough to be a demon killer.
This episode has a lot of melting man
